Artist member since 2024

Through my photos, I explore themes of beauty, memory, wonder, and renewal in the most ordinary of places, but especially among the trees or at the waterโ€™s edge. Long exposures and intentional camera movement techniques bring an ethereal quality to my abstract work. Self-taught, I enjoy wandering my neighbourhoods, practicing the art of noticing.

Q+A

Why is art important to you?

Art is a language; a method of connecting with others. I didn't know I had a voice until I began making pictures.

What artists do you admire right now?

Warren Keelan, Rachael Talibart, Heather Kocsis, Kat Hernden, Joe Martz.

Favourite book

The Neverending Story (as much as I loved the movie as a kid, it can't compare to the book!)

When I'm not making art, I'm (a) ...

crocheting, puttering in the garden, trying not to burn dinner.

I'm really good at making (a) ...

mess :)
